It must be mold season. That is one of my worst. This time every year I am guaranteed to be as sick as a bassett hound for at least three days.
And, oh look! I started coughing yesterday afternoon. Last night, I could barely finished sentence without clearing my throat. This morning, I can't breathe.
I can't sleep either which is why this post is being done at 4 in the AM.
Now, when I was a child, by this point, I would have hospitalized with pneumonia.
My diet will now consist of lots and lots of hot beverages and soups from now until frellin Halloween. Oh well. Better than missing days in work.

Oh, can I join that club?
I don't want to discourage you, but I've had that whole "cough/throat-clearing/phlegm thing" happening for about a week, and it shows no signs of going away. I went to BJ's and stocked up on cold medicine and cough syrup.
Sadly, I can't wait for the first good freeze, to kill off whatever is trying to strangle me.
It stays with me for close to a month and a half around this time every friggin year.
Time to stock up on tissues and Claritin-D.
Does Claritan really help?
Re-reading that, sounds stupid, like of course it's going to help, but I mean, will it help someone who has a perpetual cold most of the time.
I have found that mold is the absolute worst allergy I have! It makes me literally ill. Headache, sick to my stomach, can't see because my eyes ache and run, can't breathe well. I HATE it. Thank god I moved to a house that doesn't have any so far. The last house we bought, it came with resident mold in the basement and bathrooms, took me forever even after I'd cleaned it all, to get rid of the allergy side effects.
Claritin is pretty good for allergies. The D part of Claritin D is what helps me breathe a little. The best allergy medicine is Zyrtec D. That stuff is gold!
Mold sucks. It's evil and serves no purpose in this world other than bleu cheese and penicillan and ... oh wait ... it does serve a purpose. Damn.
Here, as well. Bella has been coughing a lot due to drainage, and I'm just stuffed up all the time. Of course, according to the CDC, Little Rock, Arkansas is the "most allergic" place to live in the whole USA. Wheeeeee.
Now there's a state slogan - "Arkansas - You'll Sneeze Your Ever Loving Skull Off Here".
I've never been to Ar-kan-sas. maybe Geo and I will take a trip. Part of our BlogLand world tour.
