tell Comcast to take their cable box and jam it where the sun don't shine, and then contact DirecTV ot Dishnetwork.

tell Comcast to take their cable box and jam it where the sun don't shine, and ... well, that's it.
I hate watching TV and maybe it's time my child has learned the fine art of "dealing with it".
Besides, I've said before she watches her blankety blankety blank DVD's so much, I forgot

TV? What's that then?
oh I'm guessing there was no Dora on this morning (I forgot what the rest of the line-up is)?
Cable companies I think have a department designated just to find ways to annoy their customers! It's right next to the "Make appointments to fix cable and come whenever we feel like it department."
Yeah, I'm glad my boy is young yet for "Treehouse" or "Cartoon Net", but my daughter watches crap like Futurama and Family Guy and SpoogeBob (did I say that *Bad Rowan*) 24-7 in my BR, though she has a TV, hers doesn't get the reception ours does. Yeah, great huh? We don't even watch TV!
P and T - TV is that thing that looks like a computer monitor and turns people into drooling potatoes (unless they are watching sports - then they become screaming maniacs with crisps).
VG - We never had Nick Jr so Dora was pure DVD. But we lost the Wiggles (though still have on DVD), Charlie and Lola (that one hurts), and Breakfast with Bear (from the Big Blue House). Oh yeah, and the Doodlebops.
Cable companies have become the newest evil necessity next to insurance.
Rowan - Treehouse? Must be Canadian. Dink never had Nick so her fascination with SpongePest and Dora is still a mystery.
Disney Channel was cute and wasn't highly obnoxious. Noggin is another cable channel that's geared towards newborn to 3-ish. Now THAT channel can melt an adult's brain like butter in the microwave.
We don't care for Comcast either, that's why we have dishnetwork. The problem with that is you have east and west coast channels so you all the annoying shows all day long! My two are always watching something that's annoying and I'm fighting with them to watch my shows!

Shell - Oh no! That crap wasn't in the fine print.
For the love of Playdough (tm), you're the MOM! Send them to there room! Punishments - the cure-all for the parent who has had enough.
Ummm, "their" room not "there" room.
Sounds like Young Frankenstein. :)
I don't understand why anyone that has a computer and the internet watches telly anymore.
At a rough guess, I probably watch about 2 hours a week - if that!
Tazzy watches all the soaps, most of which I can't stand. He also watches (and records) every episode of Most Haunted, which I hate even more.
Funnily enough, I'll be blogging about TV psychics/mediums at the weekend. He's going to hate me for it, but I'll smack his arse if he complains.
P, who are you kidding? He'd love it (the smacking not the blogging about psychics).
:)
